Help LQ4 T56 swap problem
so I went to bolt together my LS T56 to my 1999 LQ4 and the tranny bottoms out in the pilot bearing before the tranny meets up to the bell housing? I have researched this the best I can and haven't found any real answers why? Any input would help thanks

If you look at the back of the Crank and it extends 1/2" or so past the rear seal you have a longer Crank.

this motor came from a manual 3/4 chevy that's why I am puzzled on why the t56 is not working but it having a longer crank makes sense. I have been searching for some kind of bell housing adapter but no luck

I had to swap the (long) crankshaft from my '00 LQ4 to match my T56. I wound up buying a forged one after I bought a used short crankshaft, so if you want the short crankshaft, let me know.
