Ls3 to 98 wrangler swap. Ok so I'm brand new to the forum and I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on an ls3 crate motor for my 98 wrangler. It will be a total rebuild. Gonna make it all new. I know the gauges can be made to work except for the tach but what about the odometer? If I go aftermarket for gauges how will that work? I plan to keep it as my daily driver but also wheel it which means it has to pass delaware inspection. They hook up to the obd2 port and make you turn it off then start it again so they can see the check engine light come on and go off.
