Thanks AD, hey, nice to see you over here too. Normally I would not have this kind of time but I had hand surgery (Carpal tunnel) so I'm got some time off my normal job. The goal on this one is back on the road by the 15th of April, still a lot to do so we'll see.

Hey Rob! I followed you over here, as well. I really liked the COE build and thought I would check out the work on the Olds. Been a little while since you posted. Hope everything is going okay!

$2000 for an LR4/4L60e? I usually sell the pair for half that.

Yeah, the project is still moving along. We ran into a snag finding some severe rust issues in the floor/foot well area. We of course will not make the 30 day goal but it's still moving along. All the engine wiring including the fuses panel and relays are complete. We still have some frame repairs to do where a hack job was done for the exhaust with the prior engine. Plans are now to do the final install of the engine this weekend. I will post up some pictures later. As for the price the LR4 is the 4.8l this one is a 5.3L and it came complete with all the the wiring, pedal, TAC module etc. and sub 150K miles, we watched it run. In my book that,s a fair price. JoeNova, if you can do all that including shipping for half the price I will buy from you next time.
Thanks for following.
Rob

Alright so I did a terrible job of updating the build thread. The car is complete and now has over 1000 miles on the swap. We ended up at around $2100 in the swap, as we where able to sell the 302/C6 for $900. We also got it done in 6 1/2 weeks including floor repairs. He getting 23 MPG and it's working out well.

This was a very quick swap. Is your buddy happy with the end results?
Great looking Olds.

Oh yeah, he's happy. We will be taking the Olds and the COE to Oklahoma next month for a wedding. That will be a major test. He's already talking about the next build. That may have to wait a bit so I can get started on my new project.
