pictures/measurements of headers
pictures/measurements of headers I am working on gathering parts for a 408 swap into a jeep CJ7 and and hoping to find a set of long tube headers that will fit in frame of the jeep. If anyone knows of/or has a jeep with a set of long tubes in frame please let me know which ones fit. I have seen a lot of shorties and various manifolds work, however would like to go with a longtube style header if possible.
So far in my research i have not been able to find anyone that has a set in their jeep so was just hoping to get some photos/measurements of various long tube headers that stay tight to the block, (in whatever you have.) I do not yet have the motor mocked into place in the jeep, just trying to research to find out if there are any that look like they may be close. Doesnt have to be a swap header if anyone has a stock application that you have headers on please feel free to post up photos/measurements if you can.
Appreciate any help in advance, trying to avoid having to fabricate or pay to have custom headers made.
