Well I ended up ordering a new wiring harness from psi and all of the sensors have been wired. Now just to run the hot wires for the switch and fuel she can run!. After some inspection it came to my attention that my steering is hitting the alternator. So that will be swapped for the trans am center link pitman arm and idle arm. It lowers it enough to clear so I wouldnt need to relocate the alternator. Lots going on but progress has been slow unfortunately.

I have my first child on the way and setting up the house for her has taken alot of my time from the car. Still hoping to have it going by the time she gets here. She needs a sweet ride to come home from the hospital in

That one was broke in that picture. I only use them to push the car from one side of the garage to the other where the lift I use is. Even when they roll off it doesnt hurt anything. It has happened a few times.

Well a few developments wince I last posted. My wife gave birth to my beautiful daughter in September so my car time has become limited to a few hours on the weekends. But I'm getting really close to firing this car up. My wife is gracious to allow me car time with a new born at home. I was able to bring her home in my other camaro. Everyone railed against it, but it was special to me so I asked and she agreed to let me do it.

Sure is a tight fit getting a car seat in the back seat of a camaro

First ride in the camaro was her ride home from the hospital

i had a buddy come over and look over the car and he noticed that my pitman arm was going to make contact with my alternator. So i had to find a 70-79 firebird pitman arm and swap it out so that i had the clearance to turn the car.

had to take out all the new parts i had just put in.

new center link and pitman arm in and all fixed

A little redneck alignment?
The firebird pitman arm set the geometry off on the camaros suspension. So I rides up a laser level right off the rear tires and the used a digital caliper to ge the front wheel straight in line with the rear then measured the passenger tire off the driver tire. ( this is just so I can get it to the alignment shop)

Got some new speed hut custom gauges for the car. They don't really match the car right now but are more towards the overall look I'm shooting for down the road with that car. Also got new dash from custom works performance.

Ended up getting a brand new PSI wiring harness for the car. Im deep in the wiring of this car after finding multiple shorts in the original harness. Alot of cutting was done by someone even dumber then me in the wiring department. Over all it is coming alot nicely. it wont be long before this puppy is up and running.

Now that am starting to Knock out the little odds and ends the anticipation is building to get her back running again. I did have the first start but due to vat not getting turned off the car would only run about 5 seconds and then shut off. But it was great to even hear the car run for that short amount of time.

I choose to go with a cold case radiator and thier dual.fan set up rather then try and use the 4th get setup i had and have to do fab work to make it to where I would be happy with it. They seem to be highly recommended. The quality looks to be too notch.

Assembly before mock up

The cores on these cold case radiators are an inch wider then stock so it has to be mounted with a little bit of an offset. But it os a really nice product overall. Im sure this car wont have an issues cooling.

Now that I have my ECU fixed and the radiator and power steering on ill be ready for the real first start up to set the rings.
