Default Quick 5.3 truck standalone harness question....

I've done a couple harnesses already with great success, but not an '04 with the single plug on the NSS. Nothing left on the C2 plug except two pink wires that go down to the NSS. I assume one of these is reverse light which I don't need since it will be a donor in an old pickup. What wires do I need to keep on the NSS or should I just ditch the whole thing and remove all the wires. I would like it to control start, but assume you would need it through a relay to do this? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks for any help.

Ok, I've learned a little more looking at the pin-out. First off, what are all the "Transmission Range Switch Signals A,B,C &P" for? Instrument cluster gear selector lights? Looks like the pink wire pin#12 is obviously keyed power and that dk. green pin #1 is to the starter relay. My question is what is the lt. green pin #9 that they call "Park Neutral Position Switch Signal"?

Ahh yes the 04 and up nss switch lol!
I retained mine in a standalone harness, and basically I'm waiting to see what works and what doesn't lol!
I've asked basically same questions and got good responses, I'll have to see if I can find the thread

So the tread is right below this one, (sure it's simple, but I couldn't figure out how to share a link , was very close to throwing my phone)
Hopefully it helps

I got it. It's Pink Pin #12 to keyed power and Dk. Green Pin #1 to the start relay. Pretty simple actually. What's funny is LT1SWAP.COM has you pull the Dark Green out of the '03 and up harness. I had to rerun it back up to my standalone fuse box. I did ohm the switch on the side of the tranny and verified it is these two wires. Hope this helps someone else down the road.
