Default F-Body Fans - Two-Speed?

Seems like a simple question, but I can't find the answer. I have 98-02 Fbody dual fans - are they two-speed motors? If so, is it worth the extra effort to wire them for 2-speed operation, or just run them separately on high speed? (low signal turns one on, hi turns the second one on)

They are one speed motors but are wired to run in series on low and parallel on high. Do a search for 3 relay fan wiring and you'll see how to wire them. Its better than having them both come on separately, much quieter.
