Default Dallas, TX 1993 Volvo 240 LM7 swap

New user here. Friend told me to get on here. Figure I would get better answers from here then turbobricks.

I own a 1993 Volvo 240 wagon with a recent 95% done LM7 w/ 4l60e swap. Car was once a 16v 50. trim turbo w/ 1985 btw getrag 265 swap running ms3.57 vs2. The 16v swap engine was a piece of **** and was constantly having issues with the ms or trans or something. Decided to get that running enough and sold that as a as is running kit to fund half the Lm7 swap.

I started this swap in December of 2016 and finished middle of June.

list of things that were swapped over

2004 Avalanche engine w/4L60e engine TBW 104k milage
PCM w/ removal of emissions, secondary O2 sensors, vats, 2nd e-fan control and few minor things.

Custom TBW pedal to work in the volvo
Custom single piece 3" driveshaft
dual 2.5" to single 3" SS 304L exhaust with a straight through magnaflow muffle. No Cat cause almost 25 years old. Yay Texas laws
lokar 4l60e shifter
Cleaned up wire harness from donor car
CNC 6061 aluminum engine mounts with custom 4l60e mount

I could go on with all the little stuff but this isn't a huge power goal build. Its all rather basic but should rather quick since the car only weighs roughly 3100lbs to begin with an engine coming a truck that weights maybe 5600 lbs. At some point It'll get a cam, lifters, and a dyne tune. Only thing in the near future right now is a higher idle, and some shift point changes. I realize that the stock intake pump and bosch 044 main pump isn't putting out the 60psi that is needed so a walbro 255 or a deatchwerks 200 pump will be ordered tomorrow at some point.

I'll let photo speaks cause I'm tired of typing.

I love it.

I've had several Volvos, including a 245 I'd planned to 5.3 swap. Unfortunately, I abandoned the project. Maybe one day I'll follow through.

Was the only way to get the filter/maf to meet up with the TB. It starts getting rather tight once you get radiator and condenser in place. Went through a few different ways with radiator hoses and this was the best solution.
