Keith's 65 Impala Upgrade
I'll keep that in mind for the next one..........Thanks

Can I ask you where you got the B-Body specific adapter plates from? Do you have them custom made, or are they an off-the-shelf item?
Have just started the process of putting 6.0L into my 67 Impala.
Thanks for your time. I'll be watching this build and look forward to seeing more.

Hi Ken,
Given the amount of swaps you are doing, I think you might gain great use of the Mastercool AC line crimping tool. It paid for itself in building two lines for my project and they turned out perfectly.
Cheers,
Doug

Moving along............
Hey Ken,
Regarding the radiator. Is that a Dewitts Direct Fit LS Swap unit? Was it specific for the 65-69 B-Body's, or was it retrofit from another year/model? How well did it fit?
I actually have one on order for my '67 Impala. It's back-ordered. Should be ready in a week. Kind of spendy, though if it does fit properly, I'll be happy. They seem to have a good reputation.
Anyway, the reason I ask is that's the first photo I've seen of that specific model (with the exception of the stock photo on the Jegs site). Dewitts don't even list them on their site. Had to order through Jegs - which I did after confirming with Dewitts that they were still making them.
Thanks for your time.

GM Connect and Cruise assy or equivalent ........The GM set-up consists of mostly everything needed (engine , trans, torque converter, sensors, harnesses, engine and trans controllers, O2 sensors and Bungs, Etc)
Motor Mount adaptor plates that raise the engine 5/8" to clear the cross member (made by me.....If interested PM me) generic plates won't work
Holley 302-1 Pan
Kwik Performance front drive set-up
GM starter
I like to use a 2006 GTO 140Amp alternator (jumper cable 4 pin to 2 pin) from Speartech
Classic Auto Air heat and A/C retro kit
Recommended to get a Aluminum LS Radiator assy with dual fans (your choice)
Dakota Digital VHX gauges
Dakota Digital Fan Controller
Dakota Digital OBD module to feed the gauges directly from the ECM
you will need to move your Trans Cross member frame mounts back to suit
your drive shaft will need to be shortened or made new
A new fuel system will be needed......Tanks makes an economical set-up including Tank, Fuel Pump, Fuel level sender, and filter regulator....or you can go with advanced technology using a Ricks tank set-up with a Vaporworx pump controller
New fuel lines and fittings
Probably forgot a lot but I will update as I remember
