looking for advise

hello people , i am looking to replace my 3.0 in my S type jag with a LS3 motor tranny and computer , i live in Canada is there a kit to do the swap or am i going to have to learn as i go ????.

Depends on what kind of 'kit' you're looking for. Are you wanting a mounting kit, or a wiring kit?

both i would think , its my first time and i would like to have every thing necessary to get the job done without TOO much complications..

You're on your own with this one,as is the case with 98% of vehicles out there,there are no plug and play swap kits.

engine swap

Sir I'm learning this as I go also except my swap is very easy compared to yours. Use the search on here Ive learned to type generic and not specific word searches like wiring harness and itll pull up a llot of what you don't need but youll eventually find what your looking for "white snake". As for your engine mounts etc. lower the LS motor into the engine bay and make a set of mounts. Get a buddy over there that can weld and make a set. May sound like a lot but it aint that bad. In your case it sounds like there will be a lot of mockup but when your done you can offer someone else help when doing the same swap. YouTube has some LS wiring harness videos that may help ya. thanks for the advise , I am still learning a whole lot more stuff as I go along , I know it is not going to be easy and I will log everything when I do start....
