Anyone done this swap? I tried search and found nothing close.

New LT4 is available as crate with warranty. One of design goals was low profile. Obvious question, will it fit in a Gen IV. Yes I realize they are not giving these things away but for a trouble free DD I'm curious if anyone has done this swap.

I DD a 99 Z28 and reliability and warranty on a crate are intiguing. 650 hp that will go 100K miles with reliability is driving the question.

 

I think it would make a great package...your biggest obstacles to overcome would be engine mounts and headers.

 

And they seem to be priced a lot lower than the LS9 crates.

 

This would be AWESOME! I say go for it!

 

One main poss.problem is having the room for OEM. FEAD. WWW.PACEPERFORMANCE.COM. has one and. LS, base water pump. FEAD. THEY LOOK NICE BUT ARE PRICEY
