Default Issues after ls1 swap

I just completed a and ls1/t56 swap into my 67 nova. This was my first time messing with anything fuel injected and I don't have any tuning software. The first day I got the car fired, I drove it around the neighborhood off and on to check gauges, temp, fans, etc and everything was great and I didn't experience any issues whatsoever. The next weekend I went to back it out of the garage and now, when you give it throttle just out of idle it stumbles really bad and I get an occasional backfire out of the exhaust. Once I baby it over approx. 1200-1500 rpms and then give it throttle it seems to run fine until it drops back to idle and starts over. Does anyone have any idea where I can start to diagnose without having any tuner/scanner software? So far, I've metered the tps and it seems to look smooth as best as I can tell but not sure what to look for next.

Default Issues

Welcome to the dark world of fuel injection! Time to update your tool box with a noid light, code reader, fuel pressure gauge and non-contact thermometer. If you have a smart phone just get an app such as Torque Pro to see what's going on with the electronics. You have got this far so the above should be easy!

Haha, thanks! I know it will be worth it when it's all done but getting there and being a complete newb hasn't been easy. Is torque pro an android app? I have an iPhone and can't find that. If so, does anybody know of anything that will allow me to log sensor activity, etc? There's no way I'm in the position right now to spring for hp tuners or anything like that. Even if I could I wouldn't know where to start. I'll get there, just gotta work a few bugs out and learn where to look.

Default ls1 swap

I had no problem finding the TORQUE app. For the pro version the price is $4.95 and you will need a blue tooth for the ALDL to link the two together. Other way to go is a Harbor Freight code reader. I like the Android version much better as it will give real time data and a wheelbarrow full of features.
