Default sanoma motor mounts

having some issues mounting 5.3 in my 98 sanoma , originally came with 4.3l , I bought dirty dingo mounts and seem be about 1&1/2 inches away from mount holes . I believe frame mounts are 2.8 v6 mounts and think there location is wrong or something but cannot find any pictures . please help .

Nice project, I'm about to start putting my LS3/T56 S10 back together as well. As for the mounts I'd ask dirty Dingo about them. I know a ton of good that did swaps and absolutely hated the 2.8 rubber mounts. Almost all of them went and bought Current Performance Poly mounts instead.

Thank you , that's going be awesome , yea I was considering it I got these for $50 so couldn't pass up but I couldn't get line up not sure which way the lower mounts are supposed to bolt to frame , and no clear pictures I can find . saw one where looked like they had mount a plate to frame which pushed mount out and up inch figure some one on here would know or have pictures .

any one have anything on ls swapping sanoma mounts , pictures would be much help i spent all weekend trying make work . and cannot get them to line up .

I'm running the CPW poly mounts in my s10 and they fit perfect. Too many people had issues with sag after a few months with the stock to adapter type mounts.

yeah I'm wanting order the polly mounts and headers but I'm holding off because i cant even get these to line up.. don't wanna spend and them not work too , are you still able run truck style power steering pump with them ?

I can't answer that one since I'm running an Fbody front with a kwik bracket that relocates the PW pump.

can some one help me with the lower mounts ? they have three holes 2 on one end 1 on the other the 2 go toward bottom and 1 on top , and do they go in pretty straight or leaned more toward cab of truck . and going order my cpw polly mounts tonight , should i order complete set with motor brackets to or just order poly mounts and youse with my dd brackets

Are you sure you don't have them mixed up, as far as which is driver, and passenger? Even if they are marked, try it, maybe they were marked wrong. I have seen that with CPW mounts before.

i spent last night shaping mounts from left to right side even tried them upside down still nothing , just going go with cpw mounts everyone using them i can't find anyone saying they have used these dirty dingo mounts and needed order headers anyways , thank y'all for the help sure i will need more in the future.

I have cpw mounts that I got from. Cpw I'm using an ls1 and t56 from. An 04 gto in a 98 s10 I can't get the motor. Not to hit firewall and my mounts are maxed all. The way to get motor to radiator any help would be great
