5.3 Swap/ 96 GT- Stock K Member and Downpipe Questions
Hello- I am planning a 5.3 with a 76mm turbo swapinto a 96 gt. I do not want (unless necessary) a tubular K member. I am aware of the advantages as well as the disadvantages. I had to do one to turbo the 2v and the ride sucked afterwards. I have searched- but I was unable to answer the following questions:
Also I plan on doing a 6.0 maifold turbo kit. Is their enough room to run the Downpipe (3.5 inches is the plan) down the passenger side valve cover like on a 5.0 turbo kit?
