l appreciate the compliment and confidence you’ve expressed in the development methods being used at Holley to produce Hooker Blackheart products.

Tom is using the Holley forward position mounts, which don't require a frame notch to clear the compressor down low.

He actually ended up using the rear-bias engine brackets Andrew as he wanted to be able to a 4th-gen F-body low mount alternator set up.

Default Finally out of paint jail

Finally got the car back from paint jail. Working on trim, glass and interior; it’s been a long road.

Beautiful car you have there. Thank you for the build thread. The 1970 Goat is one of my top three favorite cars of that era. Any plans to attend LS Fest with it?

Default Small cam 416 dyno

The GTO finally made a trip to GEN3 Performance for some dyno tuning in preparation of LS Fest and the small cam 416 did not disappoint. When I decided to build this engine I was determined to have the right balance between power and drive ability I was not chasing a dyno #. I entrusted Scott Culbert owner of GEN3 to spec the engine and handle the tuning. TSP 416, TSP ported/milled LS3 heads, TSP 227/243 115 629 lobes, LS3 intake, 1-7/8 long tubes, T56 6 speed and 9” Ford.
Here are the numbers on a 100+ degree day at GEN3,
515RWHP/513RWTQ. The car has excellent road manners and the midrange power is sick!

Default GTO Dyno

Here is the Dyno sheet I was really happy with the torque curve-400 @ 2500, 450 @3500, 500 @ 5000. It only going to get better as the engine get some miles on it and the weather cools down.

Man, that thing rips. Didn’t TSP spec that cam? They nail it for sure. Great job on the entire build!!!
