Yeah, that's looking damn good! Hell, based on that rear shot, I vote you just leave the rear bumper off, show off those fat meats and the big motor.

I don't know much about these cars, but the OP's work ethic and fab skills has me believing that spoiler is a OEM and or performance oriented option for them?

Either way....it's a bit much for my taste.

I do like this body style car. Keep it up OP!

Ok So i have been pretty busy over the last week or so I got the roof liner in




i got the decklid and wing on




I painted my gated shiter




i got my fuel tank in




i got the rear bar on




Radiator installed Because LS




Door glass and rear flares on




rear quarter glass in




Back window in




rool cage and RS carpet kit in




Im pretty happy with how the roll cage turn out. It was my first time ever making one. More to come as i keep assembling

Its now fit for the LS Pages as the motor is now in on its own.
Custom subaru transaxle has been made and fitted
















My new big brake kit arrived as well. cant wait to fit these bad boys.

Why doesn't anyone do a mid-engine version? Seems like such a wasted opportunity every time I see one of these swaps.

Mainly because you need to alter the whole car. To mid mount a motor you would have to remove the torsion tube, rear firewall, ect. Then you have to re-engineer rear suspension, including mounts, ect pretty much remake the whole rear half of the car. It’s just easier to buy a cayman for that.

because then it'd be a Boxster setup....which there are already conversions.

And rear engined or not, the 911 chassis works.
