Default Hydroboost brakes l76

I am currently doing a l76 swap into my 81 cutlass. My cutlass was originally a diesel, so it's equipped with hydroboost brakes. I have done some research and I know some Ls truck motors come with the system, but if i use a pump off of a truck I would have to switch the whole drive system to truck style correct? And If so are there any alternatives, because that would mean I neee a new intake as well so the throttle body has clearance?

Do you not have the pump that came with the L76? Unless I'm missing something , there's no reason you can't use the L76 pump.

Here's a typical plumbing diagram:

You could put a tee in return line, or get a remote reservoir that has 2 fittings. 1 for the return line for the steering box and one from the hydroboost. I used one from PSC on my LS3 70 Monte Carlo

I bought an Aeroflow reservoir and had an additional bung welded-in, instead of using a tee.

Used a tee in the return line on the system I put on my Chevelle (using the ls2 vette accessories) and haven't had any issues with that portion.
I did have to put a seal kit in my booster unit this year. Not a tough job.

Anyone know if any factory power steering reservoirs came with 3 outlets? The polished is nice but doesn't go with much underneath the hood

I can't think of any pumps on the car spacing that had hydroboost. If anyone is doing a swap on truck spacing, then an H2 reservoir would work. But it's part of the pump.

If you're talking remote mounted reservoirs, mid 2000's vans have them, but you would still have to come up with a way to hook up the hose to the pump.If you want one that mounts to the pump, I think you're out of luck, but you can add one to your factory reservoir, that's what I did and it works fine.

Was just looking for a remote reservoir. Only found 2 outlet reservoirs but shouldnt be hard to drill and weld an additional port on those. Thanks

If you're not in a big hurry, I can probably find you one this weekend for less than $40.

Can't you just use a tee in the line?

Just Tee in the return line. I bought a stainless Tee barbed fitting from mcmaster.com Just get the right size for the soft line and quality hose clamps.

I did make custom high pressure lines using aeroquip high pressure hose (not standard AN hose and fittings) on the pressure side. These need to handle reliably pressures up to 2k psi. The lines I built were about $200.
