Throttle Body Issues
Hey, we are completing our build on our LQ4 now 408CI stroker twin turbo build. We are running this intake: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/e...9-EaAoaU8P8HAQ
Issue is it requires dual throttle bodies and this is NOT a race car. Yes, it's a 900whp build but its in a 64 Lincoln Convertible. We need to make sure we have SMOOTH throttle response and I am concerned that going with dual bodies (even stock LS) that its going to be hard to get this thing to run correctly. Is there any other option for a SMALLER throttle body that will plug into the harness?

The main problem there is the large 4-bolt openings.
Can you run a 4 to 3 bolt adapter and the smaller Gen 3 throttle body or is that still too large?
The 4.3 had a small throttle body that used the same IAC/TPS sensors. The only problem with it was that its also a 3 bolt and the throttle cam is on the opposite side.

I don't know what to do with stock ECU for dual TBs, but you can do it easily with the Holley Dominator. The main tuning feature in the Holley DBW software is a table that let's you alter the relationship between TPS and Pedal %. In the case of dual TBs, as you noted, you will have twitchy tip-in, but that can be tuned with the Holley software.
