Blazer X with Corvette Acc. Drive
I have a 2004 Blazer X & looking to do a LS swap.
I have already done a 03 S10 LS swap & sold it due to reoccuring issues with the cooling system, mainly the radiator that would start leaking after a year of daily driving & a couple long trips.
The S10 swap I used the truck acc drive & had to recess the radiator into the core support thus not having proper mounting that IMO led to premature failure of the radiator.
With this swap I want to use the Corvette acc so that maybe I wont have to recess the radiator & keeping it on its stock mounting.......Has anybody done this ?? Input ?? Thanx

You can do it either way. The engine will sit a little higher in a Blazer, but basically the same.
Cooling issues like that are semi common. My advice is to use BMW antifreeze, and if you can put a sacrificial annode in the cooling system, do it. There are lots of threads about electrolysis. Do yourself a favor and read up on it.
