Default GMPP kit

I was looking at GMPP kit 19155066 because it doesn't hang the A/C way out to the side like the vette set up. I thought it was an Fbody setup, but it's actually a Cadillac CTSV.
It states that it won't work with with production cast iron blocks. Anyone know the reason? I'm also curious if it has the truck, camaro, or vette spacing...

You'll need to drill one hole for the alternator bracket into a boss that isn't drilled in an iron block. That's it. I have it on an lq4 and it works fine. It uses corvette spacing.

Pop the hood on a CTSv and take a few measurements before you buy that setup. I would look carefully at the alternator, specifically how far it goes back and if it sticks out. If you recall on my setup I have notched the subframe roughly the same as where you did, but I have truck spacing which puts the alternator further forward and my alternator is mounted with the top ear into the block. I don't have much space behind my alternator, so with the CTSv alternator shifted back it may not clear your notch. Also the CTSv alternator top ear mounts onto the bracket, outward from the block, rather than directly into the block - I don't know if that actually pushes the alternator away from the block or if the tabs on the alternator are just spaced differently.

Also I would be concerned that like my LY6 alternator, that CTSv alternator may be regulated remotely via a battery charging/control module. Without the module the alternator defaults to 13.8v whereas an earlier alternator can be setup easily to put out 14.2v. This may not be a big deal to you, but it's something to be aware of - a compromise I made with my setup.

Awesome, I just did that for another set up... There's one more location on an aluminum block that doesn't exist on an iron block, I was afraid that it was the one. So that's good news...

I just read that it was the same offset as the vette and had the same thing running through my mind about the A/C compressor. Didn't really think about that for the alternator...

Here's my thought process.... I've ordered a dirty dingo lower A/C mount to that runs a Sanden SD7B10 Mini A/C Compressor in the lower quadrant that's will work with the truck, vette, and the F-body offset.

It's a smaller sanden compressor that Vintage air says they run on a lot of their front runner set ups. So I'll see which offset I can make it work with. To be honest, I'd like to use a 4th gen Camaro's accessory drive, but those are harder to find.

From what I understand, all the FEADs (corvette, camaro, "truck") use the same spacing for the 4rib AC drive belt, so there should be no shift on the AC side. It's the alternator that I'd be concerned about. The L99 2010 Camaro setup is pretty much a 4th gen FEAD spaced out further, which should help you with alternator clearance. I guess it just depends on how much $$$ you want to put into this.

I haven't looked at the Dirty Dingo mount - does it run the AC off the main 6 rib belt or the dedicated 4 rib belt?

It runs off the 4 rib. I'm not seeing any of the L99 accessory drives anywhere. Where are you finding them?

I bought the components individually. I can't recall if I used gmpartsgiant or gmpartsdirect or both. I went to the dealer and looked at the diagrams for the 2010 L99 Camaro to identify all the components.

I found this from my build thread. You can get all this stuff cheaper than the dealer through places like gmpartsgiant, gmpartsdirect, pace, or scoggin dickey.

I'm hoping the L99 waterpump will line up with the truck crank pulley and the truck PS pump will work on the L99 mount. If those work, I'll go on to figuring out the alternator and compressor mounting.

Here are the part numbers and list prices I got from the dealer. They provided some exploded views to help ID things.

19207665 Waterpump $300
12610792 P/S pump bracket $20.70
92229662 P/S pump $156.87
12610794 P/S pump pulley $40.16
12610789 alternator bracket $49.84
12568996 alternator idler pulley $65.02
XXX tensioner (I didn't ask)
XXX belt
XXX alternator
Total list $632.59 without tensioner, alternator, belt or hardware
On the above list, you do need the tensioner specific to that waterpump. It is different from what is used on most other waterpumps like truck/corvette, etc

The total is close to the same as it would be with gmpartsdirect, but I can pick up the parts when they get here. The key is not paying shipping with the local dealer, even though their web prices are a bit higher and I will have to pay tax.

List / www.gmpartsgiant.com before tax

19207665 Waterpump $300 / 177.54
12610792 P/S pump bracket $20.70 / 12.14
92229662 P/S pump $156.87 / 95.78
12610794 P/S pump pulley $40.16 / 24.09
12610789 alternator bracket $49.84 / 29.89
12568996 idler pulley $65.02 / 39.70
Total $379.14 + $36.97 tax = $416.11

I'm hoping the truck balancer with line up (we'll see) and I skipped the tensioner for now because I will need to mount my a/c compressor in that area and I don't know what I'll use for a tensioner yet.
Info on my setup starts around post #28 in my build thread here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...00-6-0vvt.html

I've thought you bought it piece wise, I've been searching for a kit and a used set up. That's not happening...

I've been looking through all 50 something pages of your thread for a pic of the front of the accessory drive, but I guess my connection is too slow to bring up the pics. It takes a couple minutes to bring up each page.
What did you end up using for the main belt tensioner? I guess you bought the bolts individually also? I assume the truck harmonic balancer worked? How about the truck power steering pump?

Here are a couple of frontal photos of my accessory drive:

For the main belt tensioner, I looked up the part number for the 2010 L99 and bought one. I don't recall the part number.
Some of the bolts I bought from the local stealership, but in a lot of cases I was able to reuse what came on my LY6 accessory drive.
The truck harmonic balancer did work and lined up perfectly.
I used the L99 Camaro power steering pump, not the one that came on the truck accessory drive.

Below are more photos. I'm not sure what you are looking to see, so please let me know and I can either find or take a photo to show it better.
