conversion front end

I have a fox coupe and I am thinking about getting a tubular front end for it, the ones where you cut the strut towers forward off. My question is that i know there are many manufactures of them out there, welded and unwelded, but has anyone on here had any first hand use with them and their thoughts?

Why do you want to do this? It is not required to do a LS swap...

Holley has a whole kit that uses a stock k-member.

Ive heard it drops like 70 lbs off the front end, and with that big s480, wanted more room to mount. Plus easier to work on the car or pull the motor.
