Bragging on Compushift
I just want to jive a big shout out to Compushift and Mike Hoy.
I'm using a 13yr old controller of theirs (that I bought used from a member on SNS) for my 80E swap in my Nova.
I called originally to set a safe setting prior to starting it up a month ago and spoke with Mike, the engineer of the product!
Well I wanted to change the shift speed of the trans and didn't know how to do it and I also wanted to see if it could be locked up in 3rd at WOT at the track.
I sent him an email and 20min later Mike replied back saying to call HIM and he would walk me through everything I wanted to do.
This was a 20 minute call that he wasn't rushing me through.
He said " I want YOU to know how to tweak it" and proceeded to do so.
He could have just of easily said " no it's not possible and buy our new controller that does everything."
What a great guy and product!
I will say there is probably a handful of companies that you can email and speak to the person who designed it!
Just wanted to share.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section.
