need advise hello i have a 1980 malibu with 6.0,4l80 trans.out of a 03 express van working real good.
the issue i am dealing with is fuel level gauge.
i did use the stock van fuel pump assembly on malibus tank ,but gauge is not reading real fuel level
gauge is a auto meter compatible with gm sending unit 0-90 ohms
any one knows how to wire it?

First thing I would do is test the signals from the fuel level sender itself. There really isn't any trick to wire a 0 to 90 fuel sender. besides power it's a single signal wire that connects to the sender in the tank and then the sender needs a reference ground. Looks up your gauge manual. it should have a diagram for you.
