ls starter conversion question

ls starter conversion question ls3 engine with a 4l80e . iam looking at many starters online most come with a connecter they remove the ring terminal post do they sell one with the ring terminal post I don't want to cut my wires up unless I really have to anybody have a part number that works with a ls engine

I'd ditch the ring terminal and wire it to the Gm pigtail you can buy. SUPER SIMPLE. You will be glad you did with the simple connection of the pigtail vs. having to use a wrench to tighten it the old way.
A 10-15 Fbody 6.2L starter and pigtail are pretty cheap. manual OR auto. Try a SEARCH. There's a thread on this. I went this route with my 70 camaro LS swap.

What Jimbo said. The 10-15 Camaro starters also have a nifty little heat shield that bolts right to it. That's a dealer item, but cheap, and so are the bolts for the heat shield.

simple going that way but I don't want to cut my wires up just in case I want to go back to stock spent a lot of money on OEM wires but cant find any part numbers for a ls starter with terminal post do they even make them like that
