Were gonna need more info than that bud....
What year, model is the engine? you doing a swap? Into what vehicle, what engine controller?
There shouldnt be just 3 black wires, black wires are usually ground and USUALLY a wired component doesn't have all same colored wires going to it. I have seen pigtail connectors that have the same color wires so maybe thats the case and someone cut the connector off?
