Default T56 Yoke Dimensions

Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the T56 yoke? I've read conflicting accounts of the holes being either 1.125 or 1.062. Needing this so I can attach the Yoke to my original driveshaft. Almost finished with the 69 camaro LS Swap, this is one of the last pieces. Thanks.

Why not use your original yoke? The T56 is a normal 27 spline output shaft and should work with your original shaft unless you had a 32 spline turbo 400 in it previously.

I am using the T56 Yoke. But the 4 speed that came out of the car had a different size. So I need a ujoint to not only fit the driveshaft but a smaller size to fit the yoke. But i've read 2 different possible sizes today if i have searched the web correctly. from what I read i need the napa/precision 447 u joint, which is 1.125 for the T56. But i also read where its a 1.062, again as long as I researched the web and read it correctly. Just like in your sig, i'm going to a 9 inch rear. which i read is a 1310 to 1350? thanks again.

The yoke on the F body T56s are a 1344 joint and your 69 camaro should have spicer 1310 style unless it's been upgraded to match the 9 inch rear 1350 type.

So you need a conversion joint 1344 to 1310 joint or 1344 to 1350 joint if you have a larger driveshaft.

T56 uses the same yoke as a TH350...27 spline. As to what u-joint, that all depends because there are numerous yokes available for different u-joints.

Yea, I understand that. My driveshaft is upgraded to 1350 for the 9 inch. I'm needing the standard u joint size for a 700r4. this way I can get the right u joint to fit both the driveshaft and in the yoke.

Your best bet is to get out the tape measure and see what your yoke and driveshaft are. If it's a 700r yoke it's probably a 1310, but only you can determine that.
