the only thing was not working are the instruments.
i buyd a 2008 Cadillac CTS cluster, and when my friend was ready with programming the ECM and TCM and BCM he said, the CTS cluster works only with Tech2 and not with MDI like your other components.
i have a E38 ECM and now i`m searching for a cluster that will work with the rest.
ok, when i buy a Camaro cluster that will work, my engine comes out of a 2013 Camaro.
but the Camaro cluster is too big and looks ugly.
Both should be able to hook up with a Tech2 and MDI if you have GM logins.
If you are looking for a GM cluster, make sure the it communicates with the ECM and not only the BCM, as well as the form of GM communication it uses (LIN, GMLAN, MOST, CAN)
