Struggling at idle Hello all,
Woke the beast yesterday after winter and it won't idle. When I disconnect the idle control valve it gets a lot better. I haven't warmed it up, just moved it for a few minutes in the garage.
Is the valve like "semi open" when disconnected, or how does it work?
Stock LS1 2000 swapped in to my '69.

The IAC should stay wherever it is when unplugged. Have you driven the car? My car will do thais when the battery has been disconnected for a long period of time, but after driving it for a few minutes it straightens right up.
