Remember every kit comes with Joseph Potak's How to Build and Modify GM LS Engines book...AND we will be offering a complete block plug kit as well.
It will include the Big water jacket screw in freeze plug, the 3 oil screw in plugs, and fronr soft plug...total with the block plugs included is $714.99
We also have the cyl head dowel kits and oil pump drive key for customers that may have lost theirs or are starting with a completely bare block!

All of our Flat top 6.0 pistons have a hard anodized top AND a floating pin AND skirt coating. Well that is soon to change.
We will be offering hard anodized tops to our flat top 5.3 pistons, flat top ls1 pistons, and our new flat top ls3 pistons.
More info soon!!

Interesting! What are the advantage(s) to hard-anodizing the piston tops? I know what anodizing is, but not how it would relate to topping a piston with it.

The lsa and ls9 pistons come with a hard anodized first ring land but only the land not the crown. It does add quite a bit of durability. We want to offer this as a standard feature where it would normally not be an option or only an option. Our flat top "LQ9/LS2" pistons already come with it and a 5.3l vvt, 6.0l vvt and 6.2l vvt, so we would like to offer them on all of the rest of our pistons to a point.
If it becomes popular enough for us to offer it in the dished lq4 or 5.3l etc as a "boost friendly budget piston" then we may do that as well.
Alot of work, planning, and effort ahead, but well worth it in th end for our customers and us as well.

For the guys on the fence about getting a rebuild kit, the price WILL be going up slightly at the end of March. This is basically a one month warning so to speak.
We cannot help that BUT we can ease the pain by giving $10 off ls7 lifters or the ls7 lifters/trays kit when purchased with the rebuild kits AND including some moly/zddp break in lube to help you assemble your setup! We will have a few more options available soon also.
I will be updating the price at the end of March. Hopefully all of your tax returns are in by then ;-)

I'll likely be buying rebuild kit for an L33 engine I just picket up. Broken piston skirt put it out of business so I'll have to have it checked out first.
Looking at the piston you posted earlier, they look as though they have a thicker top ringland? Do you offer of Hyper E Piston with a thicker crown that's more boost friendly?
Thank you,
Dan

We only have 1 style top at the moment. but in dished or flat top floating and pressed. It takes alot more to get a set of custom hyper e pistons done vs forged as they are made in such larger quantities/batches normally its not done.
Besides, how many pistons have broken from boost and how many have due to rings breaking them or tunes being off etc? They are plenty durable as is esp with stock compression height. i can get a top down measurement on some but i cannot for all the gm pistons vs ours. too much involved there.
