Default Can I use my stock temp gauge in my third gen?

Got an Ls1 in my 89 iroc, can I use my stock temp gauge? If so how do I hook it up? Also how will I hook up my oil pressure gauge? Thanks.

Yes you can use your stock temp and oil pressure gauge sending units. You just need to locate the correct adapters.

To expand on what 1964ss said you take the senders from the old engine and plumb them onto the LS motor using some adapters. Somthing like below

Temp sensors can be difficult because the LS motor has a super small unit, won't fit a 1/2 inch sender. But there are dozens of ways to get around that. Many threads on what to do

Think I have it figured out now, bought a 98 sensor and pigtail today, thanks for the replies.
