Default No converter to flexplate clearence

Th400 with ls jw ultra bell, tci flexplate. When mating the trans and engine the converter is hitting the flexplate before it is completely bolted together. Converter is all the way in pump and hasn't been pulled out any yet. Anyone run into this issue?

Maybe you need the 'dished' flexplate?

Dished flexpate dishes out which would cause more interference. Correct? The tci 399753 I thought was a direct bolt in? It's on a 408 if that makes a difference
