Wanted to say thanks!! I joined back in 2005 when I started thinking about an LS swap into my '68 Camaro. This car has been with me since 1979 when I bought it as a high school senior. I spent many hours, here, reading about various swaps and learning about wiring harness mods, computer flashing etc, etc, etc.
A few years ago I ran across a great deal on a 2002 WS6 Trans Am donor car and bought it thinking I could make money on it if I decided not to use it. The car only had 58k miles on it, the 6 speed had recently had some work on it as well as a new clutch and throw out bearing.
I went back and forth on building a old school SBC or jumping in the deep end and putting the LS1 in the car......and then, Toddoky introduced the Holley/Hooker conversion parts for the first gen Camaro and that pushed me over the edge.
It still took me awhile to get things rolling, but, today, I took my first drive in my LS powered Camaro and it was all worth it!! It's not "finished" yet, I still have to tie up the loose ends, but I can drive it while working though the rest of the things I want to do.
