LS7 in 2000 Camaro GM offers a LS F-body serpentine conversion kit for an LS7, part number 19155066. It includes alternator part number 25766345 which is for a 2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V. My car has a 4-pin plug for the alternator that has a single red wire connected to it. The pulley on the alternator in the conversion kit will line up with the LS7 harmonic balancer and the alternator appears to have the matching 4 pin connector that is on my car.
Will this alternator function on my car with the one wire connection?
