2007 or newer pcm?

Do the newer ecus saport dbc or do I need to find an older ecu?
My engine is out of a 2014 Tahoe DBW wanting to run cable throttle body.
Just want to know if the new computers are able to convert? or do i need an old ecu?

newer ecu's only support electric throttle. Steve

ok so do the older ecu's have the same plug connectors?

The two are NOT interchangeable. Major electrical differences between the two engines prevent you from mixing and matching parts. You must use the proper computer and drive-by-wire pedal setup.

ok so that forces the issue of needing an electronic transmission then? or do they have an aftermarket standalone system that i could use on these newer 5.3l wiht a dbc throttle body?

i really don't wanna buy another tranny.
I have a 700r4 that's built up and it needs the tv cable hooked up

You can go DBC, but you have to switch it over to 24X. You can either change the Crank Reluctor Ring or use the Lingenfelter Box (Part # L460065397).

For this setup we use the Red/Blue PCM (like an LS1) and our Harness part # HAR-1059
