I didn't look at all the prices. Let me know the part number you're interested in and I will tell you what the price is at Tickwholesale (you have to be a member to see the lower price) Ticks membership is very cheap and will save you hundreds on Holley products and others.
Terminator kits are available either with the HP or the Dominator ECU. Think of Terminator kits as just being more complete and having the 3.5" touch screen for programming. They can also be hooked to a laptop and tuned with the regular software.

Andrew
Already covered that part, He didn't know what the difference was between the Terminator version of the Dominator and the retail version of the Dominator.
ME:"comes with a 3.5" lcd screen and trans control Terminator uses the Dominator ECU and come complete with everything needed including 02 sensor."

HIM:"I've been trying to find the exact differences between the Terminator and the Dominator. I know the Dominator is a kit that you need to piece together yourself but I have not found a definitive list of the differences between the two."

ME: "There really isn't a difference except one is kit form that's already calibrated for an LS1 (No computer needed)"

HIM:Edit: Found it, One runs the HP and one runs the Dominator. I guess I need to determine which fits my needs and if I want to run a DBW (I don't want to change the pedal assembly)

You don't have to run DBW they have different versions.
This is 24x LS1 with transmission harness included but no DBW
https://www.holley.com/products/fuel.../parts/550-609
Then you have 58x LS2/3 with DBW but doesn't include trans harness.
https://www.holley.com/products/fuel.../parts/550-611
I'm sure there are others but you get the idea. If you get the Dominator ECU version you can buy the other harnesses needed to do make other features functional like Transmission control/DBW/2nd o2 Sensor/Boost control and so on.

Here's a definitive list of what the differences are between the HP and Dominator

The following differentiate these two ECU’s:
- Wide Band Oxygen Sensor Inputs
  • HP – One input
  • Dominator – Two inputs
- The Dominator can control certain Drive by Wire throttle body applications, the HP does not.
- The Dominator can control certain Electronic Transmissions (GM 4L60/5E and 4L80/5E), the HP does not.
- Inputs and Outputs
  • HP
2 high side (+12v) PWM or switched outputs
2 low side (ground) PWM or switched outputs
4 Multi-inputs
  • Dominator
20 high side (+12v) PWM or switched outputs
16 how side (ground) PWM or switched outputs
6 speed inputs (magnetic or hall effect)
30 0-5v sensor inputs
13 Multi-inputs
- The Dominator has a “configuration input selection” pin that allows up to 4 calibrations to be selected with a key switch.
I doubt I will be running DBW (although it has its benefits) and will not need a transmission controller. Since I will have the fans on a switch along with the fuel pump and a few other things, I don't see many inputs required either since most of them (coolant temp, oil pressure, etc) will already be covered by the main harness. If I need to upgrade in the future for the extra inputs or boost, I can always switch to the dominator ecu.

I'll save the $800+ and go with the terminator with the HP ecu for now. And I'll probably choose the Holley digital dash over the Racepak I wanted.

Default + on the MSD Atomic

Absolutely trouble free and works with automatic or manual trans. I located the module in the cab to monitor and adjust on the fly.

Hook it up to a laptop and it will do everything you can do with the regular Dominator ECU because that's what it is. The terminator is just a prepackaged setup for ease of use.

Will this package work for a boosted ls setup and use the self learn?

Yes, Keep in mind the self learn portion is only for the fuel table. You still have to setup the timing table and you still have to tell it what fuel ratio you are shooting for at idle/WOT and so on but it's pretty easy to learn.

Is all that adjustable through the 3.5 touch screen or will a lap top be needed for that part? Also it says it has a bosch wide band 02 sensor so im guessing it has a built in wide band also so no need foe an aem or similar right?

I'm not 100% familiar with the touch screen but it will allow you to make all the basic adjustments, If you go boosted you're going to want to hook it up to a laptop anyway. It's a pretty easy system to learn if you already know computer and tuning basics.
Yes it has a built in wideband, The Hp version of the ECU supports 1 and the Dominator ECU supports 2 O2 senors.

Go to youtube and look at some of the videos posted, You can also download the software to your computer if you want to see what you're dealing with.

Holley Efi, Terminator system since I have a 4L80 to control and putting a LS3 into a 72.... its not the cheapest, yet its sampling rate is very fast and has more than enough inputs, with the larger touch screen can double as the dash and tuning interface when Laptop isn't easily ready... very capable system with upgrades to High Temp O2 sensors for boosted or Nitrous applications.
