Best LS EFI Standalone System?
Andrew
ME:"comes with a 3.5" lcd screen and trans control Terminator uses the Dominator ECU and come complete with everything needed including 02 sensor."
HIM:"I've been trying to find the exact differences between the Terminator and the Dominator. I know the Dominator is a kit that you need to piece together yourself but I have not found a definitive list of the differences between the two."
ME: "There really isn't a difference except one is kit form that's already calibrated for an LS1 (No computer needed)"
HIM:Edit: Found it, One runs the HP and one runs the Dominator. I guess I need to determine which fits my needs and if I want to run a DBW (I don't want to change the pedal assembly)
This is 24x LS1 with transmission harness included but no DBW

Then you have 58x LS2/3 with DBW but doesn't include trans harness.

I'm sure there are others but you get the idea. If you get the Dominator ECU version you can buy the other harnesses needed to do make other features functional like Transmission control/DBW/2nd o2 Sensor/Boost control and so on.
- Wide Band Oxygen Sensor Inputs
- HP – One input
- Dominator – Two inputs
- The Dominator can control certain Electronic Transmissions (GM 4L60/5E and 4L80/5E), the HP does not.
- Inputs and Outputs
- HP
- Dominator
I'll save the $800+ and go with the terminator with the HP ecu for now. And I'll probably choose the Holley digital dash over the Racepak I wanted.
Hook it up to a laptop and it will do everything you can do with the regular Dominator ECU because that's what it is. The terminator is just a prepackaged setup for ease of use.
