Thanks

I have a 1967 GTO convertible. We used the 525 hp LS3 engine with a T 56 magnum 6 speed trans. The 302-2 Holley oil pan works great with good ground clearance and tie rod clearance. I used the stock trans cross member, but had to relocate the mounting tabs on the frame. I used the chevy small block frame mounts for the engine mount along with the Headman engine mounts. We had to cut the trans tunnel for it to all fit. The Holley engine accessory mounts work great. I also went with a hydraulic clutch and Hydroboost brake master. Except for the trans tunnel, I had no fitment issues except for the headers. I got my trans package from American Powertrain. I am using the Tanks Inc gas tank with in tank fuel pump and corvette fuel regulator. It all seems to work fine. I have about 2000 miles on the car so far. I was amazed at how often new products came on the market for these projects! If you can't find what you need, just wait about 6 months and someone will have it or have one better! Good Luck!

Project has kinda stalled (my fault). Going to try to stop by shop today and do a test fit of the DBW pedal. Will also (gently) pressure him to get the body on the rotisserie so I can have the frame back.

Nice to see my painter is taking me seriously. I don’t want a “friendly” car - don’t want it waving to people as I drive down the road.
