LQ4 Electrical I have a 04 lq4, 4L80e with programed PCM and harness installed in a 49 Suburban on a S10 frame using a 04 S10 steering column. Ron Francis wiring harness wires the truck.
When I hook the battery with the switch in off position the electronic throttle body actuates and the fuel pump comes on.??
When I turn the switch on, the gauges activate, then, when I turn switch to the start position nothing happens.
I am shade tree mechanic that has dealt with SBC all my 60 yrs but no have experience a Gen III.
First I thought it might be the new NSS. I tried in neutral and nothing... Then I'm wondering about grounds.

I think your problem is the main relay for a ls engine harness. The main relay turns on with the key on. This powers up all your main engine harness besides your already battery hot side. I think this relay is not wired up correctly. It needs to see 12v with key on and while starting. Without it having hot while starting the injectors will not fire.
I usually wire this keyed 12v source into the original hei coil wire.
