Default Speartech and a 4l80

I just started hooking up my speartech wire harness (which is pretty nice ) to my 2003 4l80e ...I noticed my harness DOES NOT. Have the plug for the neutral safety? It has both vss plugs and the big round one . but nothing for neutral safety???? Do I need it ? What do I do ???? Its Saturday might and speartech won't be open til Monday.

In most vehicles, the neutral safety is located in the shifter and prevents the starter from cranking, so most companies do not connect the neutral safety that goes to the trans/PCM which just prevents it from firing.

So figure out which wire on the 87 is the neutral safety switch wire. It is probably located in the column. Then just run that wire to a safety switch that is triggered by the B&M shifter.
