Default Ls1 and lq4 plug wires
Are ls1 and lq4 plug wires the same or are the truck coils different on the plug boot end ?

The plug wire ends are the same but truck wires are longer than the LS1.

So that's why when I check compatibility on web sites it says it won't fit..

Yep, LS1 coil wires will not fit on a truck setup.
