Default LQ9-LS1 help

hey Guys. New to this forum, as well as LS series engines.

I知 doing an LS swap into a Scion FR-S, and the base engine that I知 starting with is a 6.0 LQ9. The main issue with this swap is clearance issues. Because of this I致e already converted to the LS1 intake manifold, and now I知 looking to convert the water pump as well. What all do I need? Other than the LS1 water pump itself.

If it helps, I知 not running AC or power steering

If by LS1 water pump you mean F-body water pump, then you would need all the corresponding F-body accessories and pulley's. The F-body, truck, and Corvettes all have different spacing and you would need to match them to each other.

It depends on which LS1 water pump you go with. The corvette and f body can be used. The corvette pump and crank pulley sit a half inch closer to the motor then the f body setup so if you are tight on space it may be the way to go. If you have plenty of room then the F body setup is probably cheaper.

You could run the F body water pump with spacer and still use your truck balancer and alternator.
