Default 1970 442 LS swap

I have a 2000 ls1 and was wondering if these parts will all work together before I buy them.I bought the Holly 302-2 pan already but will the speed engineering headers,ICT swap plates work good with that pan or do I need to buy the entire holley/hooker swap kit?I bought the whole car so I will use the wiring,ecm and 4l60 out of it.I will try to use the brakes also.I was hoping to save some money where I can but if it will make it better or easier I will pay the extra for the better parts.

Mixing different brands of parts works SOMETIMES, but don't be surprised if they don't, since none of the mfrs. could know how the other stuff fits. The ONLY way to assure good fit is to use stuff from the same mfr., in this case Holley/Hooker

That was what I was worried about.I have looked through several builds and didn't see that exact setup.I was going to put a magnuson S/C on it but i'm new to the LS stuff and all the different cars and motors have different pully'sbrackets'sensors and etc.so i'm lost on some stuff.Thanks for taking time to reply.

I ended up with UMI Performance mounts, Holley 302-2 pan and Doug's headers in my LQ9/4l60e swap into my 71 cutlass. The UMI mounts kept the engine low to the crossmember for good driveline angles. I did cut the mounting pad on the trans crossmember, flip it, and re weld it get fitment and angles right. I will say the dougs headers are a great fit, but very close (1/4") to the floorpans in the rear. I had tried speed engineering f- body headers, which were quality parts, but they didn't vlear the engine crossmember on the driver side. This was before they had the a-body swap headers... i would recommend doing a search here to see reviews from people that have used them. In the end, i bought 3 motor mounts and 2 sets of headers to get things right after dropping the engine in a dozen times. Now that Holley offers everything ready to go i wouldnt hesitate to spend the money up front and avoid the headache if it were me. Save up and buy everything right once and be done with it. You can find a combo out there that works and save a few bucks, but it will be at the expense of trial and error and your time.

Thanks! It takes some planning, some cash and some time, but these things are a ton of fun when finished (they're never really finished.)

Ya I know all about never being finished.They are about like a new house.I have way too many cars anyway,and really don't need to be doing this project.

if you are thinking about adding a supercharger. do yourself a favor now, and start with a 4l80 trans.
