Default FAST ez LS efi on my LS2

good evening I’m running the ez LS efi 2.0 on my LS2, and I’m having a problem with getting it to start. All of my connections are functioning, and I’m trying to figure out the parameters of the selling tuning hand held touchscreen. My LS2 is all stock, and the only mods to the engine that I’m running is a 102mm sniper intake, with a Holley EFI 105mm cable throttle body, and that is about it, I’ve gone through the initial setup and I can’t get it to start. It will crank like it wants to start, and I still get no start. If anyone had any advice on the numbers i should be running outside of the initial tune setup, please feel free to send me some advice, thanks.

What is the motor in, and are you sure you have 12 volts going to the PCM when cranking?

Is it sparking ? does it have fuel ? if so something should be happening , check cam , and crank sensors , wont spark if those have a bad conection , fuel presure , thats the begining , , check your grounds , without good ground your injectors will not pulse .

Yes i have 12v going to my PCM when cranking, I started it up and it idle and died, and then I started it again and gave it some gas, and it idle for about 5-7 seconds and it died again, but i notice that when I crank the motor my fuel gauge goes from 3/4 to E, which shouldn’t happen if I’m not mistaken.

Ok will check connections, I may have a fuel malfunction with my fuel gauge or fuel sender.

While cranking, gauges don't get power.

When key goes to Start, most other systems are turned off. So the fuel gauge going to empty is normal.

I don't know the FAST system very well, but it sounds like you have some tuning to do...

open your throttle body set screw and see if that helps. you said it started when you have it throttle and it idled for a few seconds.

After it gets warmed up one of the screens is to set your IAC% by adjusting your T/B blade.

Open it up a turn and see if that helps it. The worst thing that will happen is you open it to far and it won't be able to achieve the desired idle but that will be taken care of when it asks for it.

Ok I will try that, and get back to you, but I also found out that my Crank/Cam out connection was not even connected, so I connected that and now I’m starting to think that the shop that did my harness may have been over there pay grade. I will check all connections and then open the throttle and see what happens and I will get back to you. Are you familiar with this set up?

Did you tell the fast ecu the right injectors that you are running? I am sure it needs to know what size injectors you have.

Yes I gave the correct injectors to the ECU, and I talked to tech support at FAST and the confirmed that I have spark and fuel, but it doesn’t look like I’m getting any air, any suggestions on that? Tech support suggested that I squirt gas inside the throttle body?

It will not run like that , on my first ls swap , 64 chevelle , , all was fine untill ,,, I was backing out over a bump and a loose cam sensor conector came unpluged , died completly and took quite awhile to figure out , pluged it back in and ran great .

Ok plugged that cam sensor in and I now have fuel, spark, but no air, I’m still having a start issue, it cranks like it wants to start, but still won’t start, any suggestions?

What's with the air? The pedal is connected to the TB, pressing the pedal open the blade and gives it air. It is connected, right?

The tech support at Fast told me I had fuel and spark, and that I needed air? So he told me to squirt gas inside of the TB, and yes my TB is connected?

You need to call back and have that tech explain exactly what he means, sounds like he could be talking about idle air and that can be controlled with a screw on the TB, with the IAC programming, or both.

If the "Tech" (and I'm using the term loosely) is telling you that you have FUEL, why would he (she?) suggest squirting MORE fuel into the TB? How is that going to change your "air" situation?

I think I know the answer, but just to confirm, is this DBW or cable operated TB?
