Default Air Conditioning

I put an LS1 from a 2000 Camaro SS into a 1979 Trans Am. The car does not have AC. Can anyone make some recommendations on adding a full AC to the car. I assume I need to get an AC compatible with the LS. Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Vintage air does not make a whole kit for that car right now, but a Vintage Air Gen II Mini would probably fit nice in there providing you can do some fab work. As far as the compressor goes, you can use a standard compressor from like a truck on it down low if it will fit, or if you want to put a factory a/c box in the car, you can do that, and run a R4 compressor up top with a Holley bracket.

Really there is just about any choice you want on the table now. It's not like it used to be.
