66 Nova wagon LS6 Hi. I posted my first post in the introduction section. I am finishing up a 66 Nova wagon 2 door conversion with an LS6/4L65E power train. Here are some of the assembly pics.

I bought them new and yes they are pricey but I got a killer deal on the engine so I thought I could justify it. I have about 8K including engine, intake, PSI harness, valve covers, March pulley system and headers. Not too bad.

I didn't want it to look like a pro touring build. I used an early Ford Maverick rear because it's 1.5'' narrower than the stock Nova. That allows me to run a deeper offset wheel. Also went from 9.5'' x 2'' drums to 10'' x 2''. Not a big difference but it all helps. This car will eventually be a driver. I plan on some long road trips with it. It will never see the track. Rear drum brakes have worked well for many years.
