Need advice on 87 GTA with 5.3 Hello everyone. New to the site as far as being a member goes. I’ve been on here tho since August looking through the treasure trove of information that’s on here. But finally needing some advice from people that know what they are talking about. So I bought a 87 GTA that the previous owner installed. It has a comp cam HR281XR in it, valve springs changed, long tube headers,cai, corvette style regulator with filter, Walbro 255 fuel pump. Stock heads, stall converter, and injectors. I guess my question is should I change the converter or the injectors before I take it to the dyno to get it tuned? I don’t want to run into any problems to where it can’t get tuned. Ok. I’ll have to check to see if they are from a 5.3, or from a f-body. I plan on doing that tomorrow hopefully. If they are from a 5.3 I’ll have to get in touch with you about those injectors. Thanks for the response!
