Hello fellow ls1tech members. Been awhile since posting as I have been building my own car. Took approximately 2.5 years to compete. This is my new driver. 100% owner built . Enjoy

Very nice, very clean! Any more info on the car, LS1, LM7, transmission? The Upsized rally wheels look good.

What is your lower radiator hose situation? Is it on the passenger side or snake over from the driver side? If passenger side, have a part number? I'm in the beginning of a swap on my 66 and that's my current issue.

Engine is a lm7 bored ..25 mm(.010} over, Now a real 327CID, trans is a 4l60e. Radiator is a crossflow unit with 2 row/1inch tubes with a inlet on the pass.side.I don't have a part # on the hose.

Found a part # that I used for the lower hose, Dayco 71660

Made my own panel out of 18 gauge metal. Pretty easy to do. Made templates from cardboard and transferred to metal. Used panel bond adhesive with 1/8 inch countersunk rivets. Grind smooth,fill and paint with satin black.

f6john,Yes the original firewall is still in there. Just be sure you cut around the bolt holes where the fenders mount to the firewall. Ask me how I know...

Turned out OK. Just didn't need to shim behind those bolt holes. Whew! I just tell anyone who asks that I custom fit them for a cleaner look. LOL!

The headers are made by Speed Engineering. Mine are shorties, but are available in long tubes also.

Thank's all for the kind comments. Didn't get a lot of time to drive this one yet. Plan on putting 1500-2000 miles on this summer. Already have several long trips planned, one of which will be to the Street Machine Nationals in St. Paul Mn.
