Aftermarket wire harness for 5.3
I've recently acquired a 2002 Yukon 5.3 engine with 4L60e tranny for my 1953 vintage pickup restomod. It was a basic 6 volt sys which is starwars lightyears away from the GM 12v CPU technology. With a meager budget and not wanting to make a showtruck out of my project, I'd like to get a smooth running engine/tranny and hopefully ending with basic driver gauges, realizing I'll need to continue to connect to certain LS engine components to satisfy the computer.
What harness suppliers have you guys used to simplify making this transition easy and costly.

I'm a fan of American Autowire for the body wiring harness for my El Camino because their fuse box fits the stock location in the firewall for my old fuse box - no mods required. For the meager budget, have you considered modifying your model year 2002 Yukon underhood wiring harness to the Powertrain Control Module? This can be absolutely free with lots of You Tube videos and the LT1 Swap web pages.
If you don't want to do that, I'd go with Speartech or HotwireAuto or PSI.
