Default Help needed L83 won't fire

I have a 2014 L83 Engine I am putting in a 1957 Chevy truck and can't get the engine to fire.
Here's what I have done so far. fuel system has 65 psi. oil pan was changed out with new holley pan so I jumpered the oil level switch. battery voltage is 13.2 volts. I am using the fuse box/ relay system that came with the engine. confirmed voltage to coils. when I turn ignition on high pitch like an alarm comes from 6L80Etransmission.
Anything I am missing?
Thanks Bobby

Any trouble codes in the powertrain control module? Do you know anybody with a set of "noid" lights to see if the injectors are actually firing? This is different than having voltage to the coils.

Will it fire on a little starting fluid shot into a fully opened throttle body? I don't like to use a lot of this stuff because it can wash the oil film off the cylinder walls. But it can be a fabulous diagnostic tool - if it works you have spark and compression but . . . no fuel is coming from the injectors.

I love those late 50's Apache style trucks and look forward to you starting a complete build thread here.

Default No spark to plugs

Thanks for the reply Rick
I am not getting ant spark to the plugs? I pulled #3 plug and spun it over with good fuel pressure and good battery voltage.
I am new to these gen v engines and I am learning as I go.
I did purchase a HP Tuner and not sure where to go from here.
I have built several cars but old school distributer type engines.

Have you had the PCM reflashed to turn off the Vehicle Anti Theft System (VATS)? With VATS still turned on, the engine won't start. It is OK that you purchased HP Tuners but you won't be a wizard with it any time soon. I'm certainly not!! I would let somebody local to you work out the things that need to be changed in your PCM (Powertrain Control Module) and then let's see if it'll start.

Yes VATS are disabled, tried several different tunes with the different trouble codes erased, still no spark. Probably will try to find someone local that can check it out for me.

Thanks Rick appreciate your help.

cypris
thanks for the reply,
Have power to the coils, vats disabled, trans is in park, oil level switch bypassed, fuel pressure set at 62. Still no spark.
When I turn the key on I get a high pitch sound coming from transmission, sounds like a alarm? when I write something to it (trans) the pitch goes away until writing is finished.
Any Ideas are appreciated
Thanks Bobby

My 6l80 makes a high pitch sound with key on. It's not very loud but you can hear it under the vehicle.

The thread listed below is located under conversions and hybrids 12/20/2015 by GenIIIDude and was a huge help for me. Post #9 has some schematics that are great for wiring up the ecm. I also found some for the transmission by searching the forum. It sounds like you might be missing a power or ground somewhere. Wish I could help more but I'm at work.
