Tremec t160

Can you use a TREMEC T160 with a 5.3 LS and if so what is needed to connect the to. I am want to replace my 250 with the 5.3 LS and keep my three speed if at all possibly. Any info would be a great help thank in advance to all or any that could help..

Not too familiar with a T160. What's the trans bolt pattern, input shaft specs? Same as a GM Muncie?

a 250 6 cyl bell is the same as a sbc so it should bolt up fine with the proper flywheel and input shaft bearing. You can use the old school clutch and pressure plate. If you can't find info on the swap look into a more popular muncie or sm465 swap it will basically be the same.
