Default 6.2 swap vs 6.0 swap

I have some experience with swapping a boosted 6.0 into a 79 firebird but that’s it. I am wanting to do a swap on a 70 Plymouth Roadrunner. I want the TR6060 so a whole donor car would be best for me. But those all have the 6.2 in front of them. How difficult is the 6.2 to swap into another vehicle? I have heard they are more difficult to tune, is this correct? Also if down the road I want to up the power and add either a turbo or supercharger can you open the ring gap and run them like you can the 5.3 and 6.0? I have tried to find some info on this but have had no luck. If you have links to builds or articles or just information it would be greatly appreciated. I am wanting more of a pro tour style car right now with stock engine, maybe some bolt on stuff. But have the ability to boost it down the road. Thank you in advance.

If you haven't found any information, it is because you have not looked hard enough. There are dozens of 6.2L (LS3/L92/L94...etc) swaps. All 6.2L engines are Gen IV and all of them have an aluminum block. They can be boosted, just like any other LS.

The OEM Tr6060 presents problems when swapped into older cars because there is no slip yoke on the output shaft. There are various solutions for this...

I am really just wondering how’s difficult they are to tune? I saw it as simple as say a 6.0 and using the factory computer to tune it? I have found 6.2 swaps but none really talk about the tuning aspect. At least not the ones I found.

They are tuned the same way. Nothing is different. Either use OEM electronics and software or get a standalone, like Holley HP or Dominator.

I've got a stock bottom end (as far as I know its stock.) 6.2 in my car.. NA the car trapped 123mph cam only. Last year I finished up my turbo build. It survived 3k miles of 18-19psi on my pt8847. It pulls like a raped baboon in boost.
